Kevin knew all too well that buying a second-hand car can be risky, so to ensure the car was in good enough condition, he did a few checks. He drove it around for a while, testing the safety measures of the car and checking to see if the engine ran smoothly. All seemed well. There were no funny noises going on, and the salesman seemed pretty trustworthy.
After a few minutes pondering, Kevin made a decision. It was perfect! He shook the salesman’s hand and handed him over the money. A deal had been made. His daughter’s birthday wasn’t for a few days yet so he drove it home and kept it in the garage out of sight until it was the big day.
