Michael is a 28-year-old illustrator, van life lover and hobby builder who has spent years transforming buses and other vehicles into clever mobile homes. But his last project was his so far most out there. He decided to convert an old ambulance into a dream home on wheels.

Initially Michael meant to buy a van or bus, something more similar to his regular projects. He had spent a year living in a van he had previously transformed, but sold it to buy a new fixer upper. But one morning he woke up, checked Craigslist and spotted an old ambulance for sale.
He was intrigued, and decided to take on this crazy challenge of turning an old ambulance into a modern, practical mobile home (without going over budget…).
