[post_page_title]Nest left alone[/post_page_title]
In parts of Asia, bird’s nest soup is a very costly delicacy created from, as the name suggests, the nests of birds, specifically swifts. Comprised of saliva, these nests are boiled down into soup. While that isn’t perhaps the most immediately enticing notion, we could eventually see the appeal.
Plus, this dish’s taste is reputedly excellent. We cannot, however, see our way to a bird’s nest energy drink. Not only does it just sound wrong, we’re dubious about how soup translates to energy drink. We probably won’t be pounding back a can of bird’s nests during our next run.
