Apparently, Cuchara’s owner, Ana Beaven, decided to hand out these cards after being forced to shell out $1,500 to fix a mural on one of their walls after it was damaged by a kid who had seriously scratched it with a coin.
“His mother was texting at the table,” she recalled. “We talked to her and she was almost aggressive.” Beaven also claimed that the mother said her kid was just “expressing himself” and offered to pay just $40 for the costly destruction.
