Even though your ceiling fan is perfectly aligned and working just as it should, the pull of the fan can be enough to pull the chain against itself and make an irritating noise. Have no fear; you might not have to listen to it for much longer.
To stop the noise, simply cover the chains in the right sized plastic tubing. This can be found at many DIY stores or even pet stores, as many use it for their fish tanks. A simple addition could stop hours of frustration.
