Kim Delaney has been in the business since the early ’80s. Her first major role was Jenny Gardner in All My Children, but she’s best known for Army Wives and NYPD Blue.
The latter actually got her various award nominations, including two Golden Globes, and even a Primetime Emmy win. One of her more recent roles is on Chicago Fire as Kelly Severide’s mother. It has been announced, however, that she is expected to reprise her role as Detective Diane Russell in an upcoming NYPD Blue reboot.
