In his 25 years in the force, Deputy Chief Glazier had met a lot of people and made plenty of contacts. As most anyone would agree, networking nowadays is important – but in this case, networking proved to be a life-changing asset.
He remembered that in a previous precinct that the had commanded recently, he had met the director of a homeless shelter. Phone number in hands, he was ready to place the call that would turn many lives around.
