History is one of those subjects that’s hard to get a group of hormonal and self-absorbed teenagers interested in. Why would they care about anything that happened decades ago, in a time and place seemingly irrelevant to their everyday lives? One way is to bring the history to them, quite literally.
This professor brought the computer science equivalence of a dinosaur to class – a 10 mb hard disk from the ’60s. So with one “ancient” object, he immediately caught the students’ attention.
