Luckily, another airline took over the situation, and put him on the next flight out there via Copenhagen. It only put 7 additional hours onto the total journey, but that wasn’t the point. The point was that she trusted the airline to take care of her son, and they totally went back on their word by putting him on the wrong flight and then abandoning him.
One thing for sure is that Brenda and Anton will not be flying with them again – she even tweeted “#NeverUnitedAir”. At least he arrived safely in the end!
