Some parents are so upset about the obvious abuses of the parent and child parking spots that they are trying to do something about it. One mother in Ireland started a petition calling on retailers to enforce the rules when it comes to these parking places.
People with no children regularly park in these spots, and Niamh O’Reilly thought that something should be done about it. Others agreed, and the petition received 8,171 signatures, going above and beyond its target of 5,000.
