That is, after all, what the story’s truly about – civility. Or, to be more precise, it’s about a lack of civility. First, there was the unnamed mother, who’d been uncivil towards Chloe and her aunt. Then, came Chloe, who took one moment in that woman’s life and plastered it all over the internet – whether it truly represented who that woman was or not.
Lastly, came the commenters, who were all too quick to condemn her, without thinking about who she might have been. If we take anything away from this, it’s to be a little more civil – and a little less judgemental – towards our fellow man, and woman.
