When she made her post, Chloe wrote that she was publicizing the story in the hope that the unnamed mother would see it. While we don’t know for sure whether she had or not, and might never find out, we couldn’t help but wonder what Chloe’s motivations were.
It could be that she merely wanted to rub the woman’s face in how wrong and judgmental she had been, while basking in the affirmation of strangers. We hope, however, that she aimed at opening real dialogue – open parking spaces, about motherhood, and above all else – about civility.
