There’s a small irony in Chloe making her Facebook post, and pointing a finger in blame (and mostly shame) at this unnamed mother. The irony being, of course, that while Chloe railed against her for judging without knowing all of the facts, she’d actually done precisely the same thing.
The people who stuck up for her in various comments, incidentally, were guilty of exactly the same thing – they all agreed the mother was in the wrong. She may well have been, but what if she’d been having an awful day, or was just generally exhausted by motherhood? Would we want our worst moments plastered all over the internet?
