While some people think that those who park in the parent and child parking spots are just lazy, O’Reilly wrote in her petition that they are “not a mere convenience.”
According to her, these spots are vital for parents who have to get their children, strollers, diaper bags, and car seats in and out of cars. They need the extra space provided by these special spaces, and when other people insist on parking there, it leaves parents in a very difficult situation.
