Part of the problem was the large sum of money that Bray was asking for. The member of the tribunal felt that it was far too much, and that Bray was looking to take extra money from the salon in order to pay for longer hair.
Bray insisted that she just wanted her hair back the way that it was and was not looking to profit from the incident. She had brought quotes for extensions, bills from the salon, and evidence of all of the other expenses she paid.
