As the flight continued, Denny sat back in his seat to reflect. He himself felt wonderfully grateful that his generosity was noticed, but that wasn’t his intention at all. However, it did make him feel good about himself and the world, knowing kindness is still something that’s really appreciated.
Denny had always been a rather empathetic person, and so gestures showing good will towards others were simply in his nature. With the soldiers now well-fed, the rest of Denny’s plane journey was a happy one.
