As he boarded the plane, Denny approached his assigned seat and put his carry-on luggage into the compartment above his head. He had a window seat, so he climbed over two seats to get to his and sat down feeling glad to finally be on board. Denny had apparently always loved to fly. He found it quite relaxing, and he also loved to get some people-watching in with fellow passengers too.
The flight he was taking on that particular day was a reasonably long journey, so he brought along a book that he loved. Perhaps he could even take a nap. Denny was a pretty heavy sleeper, so there was a chance he would nod off and wake up having arrived at the destination. Sleep would be the last thing he would accomplish on that flight, however.
