If there was anything Denny wanted for the end of his day, he wanted the ten soldiers to carry on their journey to the base feeling loved and appreciated. Denny’s good will certainly did so. Mission complete!
As he left the airport, he started thinking about what it means to be a soldier in his eyes. Being a soldier is as though at one point in your life you have written a check to the United States for an amount of “up to and including my life.” To Denny, being a soldier is the most commendable job known to man.
