It was evident from all the comments and shares that this small act of kindness really touched people, and offered some moral support to people who have served or currently are serving the country.
It’s not an easy job to do, and can feel very isolating and scary. To know fellow citizens who themselves are far away from the battle fields recognize and care about the plights of soldiers can give exactly the support they need.
