One other user commented on Denny’s act of kindness replying: “I am a veteran, and this type of gratitude gives me more strength, character, and trust in the belief that we are right to be defending our loved ones and the citizens of this country. Thank you. I have been really struggling lately and this has lifted my spirit. God bless you. Amen.”
These types of replies made Denny feel as though his gesture didn’t just help the soldiers, but also others who might be in a similar situation. We can certainly all learn something from this.
