After several long days of tireless searching, it was obvious Carlos was gone again, and wanted to stay that way, this time. Authorities stopped the search, although Marcello Stella, the mayor of the neighboring city Scarlino, said they will continue to keep an eye out in the woods, without any active search parties working.
