You might recognize the name, Christopher McCandless because his story has actually been turned into a nook and a major motion picture.
Written by Jon Krakauer and then turned into a feature-length film by Sean Penn, Into the Wild follows the life of Christopher McCandless as he goes from living a relatively normal life into one that involves adventure in the wilderness. In fact, his story began when he graduated from college in 1990. Like many other college students at graduation, he found himself in a crossroads.
