November, 2015, Italy. A group of unsuspecting hitchhikers decide to go on a day trip to try and find edible mushrooms in the woods just outside Tuscany. In the Maremma region, large edible ‘shrooms can be found in abundance, and are not hard to come by.
But the hitchhikers didn’t luck out that day, and couldn’t find any in the marked path. So they decided to split and get off the path, to maybe have better luck there. They found themselves wandering deep into the forest, where they stumbled upon something strange.
