By the time April 1992 had come around, Christopher – or Alex – had finally made his way to Alaska and was getting ready to travel across the state and set up a new life for himself. As he hitchhiked his way around, he was driven by a local electrician, who was actually the last person to see him alive.
This electrician remembers being worried about the young man, as he was only equipped with a small backpack and some basic equipment. As someone who was used to the harsh Alaskan terrain and temperatures, he was concerned.
