This has alos something to do with the wish to live alone. While in earlier times in history it was custom to get married young and not divorce, today there is an actual pressure to doing something to your heart’s content.
According to a certain research done, the global number of people living alone is skyrocketing, with 80 percent increase in 15 years. Although de Salazar and others took it a bit farther than just living alone, one of the reasons they wanted to be solo was because they understood, probably, that this is what makes them the happiest.
