It wasn’t long before the team realized that removing the built-up rock wouldn’t be as easy as they first thought. To start, the talus actually placed a vital role in the waterfall as it helped hold up the cliff face and support all that water.
There was then the problem of removing it in the first place. While they might have had the machines to dig out the rock, it would have cost a lot of money to get it all out of the way. There were so many things that needed to be considered.
